Dr. Phillippe Astoul

Graduated from Aix-Marseille University (school of medicine) and board certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Thoracic Oncology. Full professor of Pulmonology in 1995 and named head of the department of Thoracic Oncology and Interventional Pulmonology in Marseille in 2003. Main interest in the management of pleural diseases and enrolled in the different international committees for major guidelines. Chairman of several international courses dedicated to medical thoracoscopy and rigid bronchoscopy. President of the 22nd World Congress of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (WCBIP) in Marseille (2022).
